As the name suggest one would expect there would be a fort but there is no fort....there is a nice old Dutch Palace with beautiful paintings,Old jewish quarter with sinagouge.& lots of shops.

Has a very good selection of books on India covering many topics and always keeping updated on the latest well known Indian and foreign writers’s publications.Good selection of Classics too Very clean and organised way of displaying the books also. I love this charming small bookshop hidden on Princess Street. The owner was really friendly and knew exactly what I was looking for. I was looking for Ayurveda books and he recommended me the Ayurveda for Beauty and the contents of the books were exactly what I want! They also have interesting collections of books such as Sadhus which I cannot find from my country. :) Also very charming atmosphere and interior! Love this bookshop!…

Browse some of the best titles in a well organised, themed, tidy, airy space with bonus art exhibition and cafe balcony.
