Just had very disappointing experience. Just visited this temple and have been thrown out. I looked before attending at 12 noon if there were visiting times and saw only times to worship if you are Hindu. I arrived and there were a few people about but not many and no one said anything to me. I took my shoes off... More

One of the oldest temples in Kochi. Shiva is the prathista. Worth visiting and enjoying the divine grace and peace.

Good temple with normal crowed during usual days... Nearby Lord muruga temple also there. People coming from long distance can take rest in a opposite park which is clean and having good view point. Keep the place clean...:)

Ernakulathappan is the God Shiva..The temple is situated near kochi lake and short distance from south railway station.It is the most famous temple in Kochi even from the period of Kochin kingdom..The festival season is mid February..many famous Elephants participate in the PAKAL POORAM...The disciple can worship God Shiva from early morning to 11 am and from 5 pm to... It has one temple main for Lord Shiva there is a temple for lord subhramanian and lord hanuman , bheema located just beside durbar hall ground and other side facing Rajendra maidan temple is a unique spot for tourist there is also auditorium

The temple has been located in the busiest part of the City. Yet suitable for calm and dedicated worship. There are temples for Lord Subrahamanya and Hanumar in the close vicinity. The temple is at a distance of about 1/2 k.m from Ernakulam South Railway Station. The main enrance of the temple is facing the backwater on the western side.... More

It is a peaceful temple without large crowd and ques etc. This was the temple Swami Chinmayananda used to visit regularly when he was a young boy in his poorvashrama.
