I think the fishing nets at this location have been taken over by the tourist industry rather than the fishermen. You can still see them and how they worked and you can take photos from a distance. Don't be tempted onto the fishing net area...More

If you have never seen Chinese fishing nets close up, then I recommend this spot. It's a fascinating local industry and the nets are harder to haul up than you think.

u can come by Bus directly from wayanad tht go to alleppey that will more cheaper and takeing a car from there depends on the car i take and travel if its indica it charge around minimum 9 or 10 rs per km i thnk.
