Maria's cooking class is an unusual experience. Not only is the meal resulting from the class exceptional in flavor and quality, but she's also an amazing teacher. We learned so many principles we intend to use at home. Thank you Maria! Such a hidden gem.

We had a great time at Maria’s cooking class. She took the time to explain how to cook each dish and the reasons behind combining different ingredients or cooking them in a certain way. We learned a lot about Indian cooking and are excited to use this knowledge when we get back home We each got to cook a different dish (if we wanted to, there was no pressure if we didn’t) and enjoyed a number of dishes for lunch. It was all delicious!

Very well organised cooking class. Maia and her husband welcomed us into their home where everything was prepared for us. Water was provided as we sat at the table. Recipes and methods sheets were handed out with pencils to write notes. Maria took us through things a step at a time as she cooked several dishes. She even catered for my vegan daughter which was unexpected but charming. We ended by eating a completely delicious lunch.

We couldn’t have loved this class more. Maria, her husband George, and her family welcomed us into their home for the class. She was so knowledgeable and we learnt so much. She was so kind to us, and we got to share our fantastic food at the end. A wonderful experience - couldn’t recommend enough.
