Has reasonable parking available. Minimal charges for entry into the park. It's a very well maintained park, with clean walkways and surrounding, refreshment shops, adventure zone, toilets etc. The park provides a splendid panoramic view of Idukki and Cheruthoni dams together along with the Vaishali cave.

You can see the idukki dam overhead from this spot. A great view of the idukki dam and surroundings. There is car parking at the base of the hill and you need to climb up the hill garden by walking. One of the scenic spots of Idukki. A very good place to relax, read a book, write a book, meditate!
Highly recommended.

If one has to capture the beauty of the Idukki dam, then this park is the only option as photography inside the dam is not allowed. This park is at the top of a small hillock and very well maintained. The entry fee is just Rs 10/- and for that money this place is really a heaven. There are several protected shades where one can sit down and enjoy the beauty of the hills and the dam below. Cars can go unto a parking point, beyond which there is a steep climb for around 5 minutes. Elderly people may find it difficult but it is worth the small climb to the top. The top has a well maintained lawn and a small cafeteria too. You can have a real picnic at this place as we had had our packed lunch here! The photos I posted on the Idukki dam were taken from here and I can reposting them here for the benefit of people who visit this park.

Hill view park idukki is a natural garden located in the heart Idukki Arch Dam.Its a popular tourist attraction in Idukki Dst.This place offering panoramic views of the Cheruthoni and Idukki Dams. The park is at a height of around 350 ft above dam water level and has a natural water body where pedal boating can be done.Neatly constructed on a hillock, accommodation managed by KTDC is available and the tariff is also very economical. Don’t forget to carry your binoculars and enjoy sighting animals like elephants, deers and bisons in their natural habitat.
