Kolukkumalai is a place which you must visit if you are in Munnar. Jeep safari there take to the highest point which is 7500ft above sea level. The road there is quite rude, in the jeep one has to jump. But the view is mesmerizing....More

I went with 2 kids and they enjoyed the bumpy ride. Route looks scary initially, but its safe as there wont be much traffic on the way. Jeep takes anything between 2000-3000 depending upon ur start location.

I wont prefer it, you have to spend a lot spoiling your shock absorbers after the 3 hrs of drive on the road. also some of the places the curves are steep and difficult to turn.
