The place is picturesque location, with lot of decent places to stay. Nice cool whether and lots of attractions in the vicinity. A good place for family and friends. The only discomfort was littering of plastics all around

I have visited this place 3 times.A very high peak point inside the clouds.where u can go for mini trekking to view other scenic places.Beautiful peak point in south India.A big job is waiting for your DSLR, handsets....etc.Must visit place in idukki district.Going on july to october will be more pleasant....

On the day we visited it was extremely cloudy and misty. It was also surprising to see how quickly the mist was appearing and disappearing provided a view of parunthumpara. SInce there were elders as well, did not bother to venture down and climb the parunthumpara. But saw lot of folks standing on top of the rock. Unfortunately the view... More

from vandi periyar have eight kilometer journey. nice location.really all are enjoy the place.excellent bird rock view.you can care full visit the bird rock near.we can get the fresh air.on the way to vandiperiyar have teaestates and sight seeing is good.

The hills were awesome but the amount of destruction the people have caused is worth mentioning. One portion of the hills are turned into a plastic dump.The hawkers with their cheap quality food items have added to the damage. It is a beautiful tourist spot which can generate a good income, please stop littering and help clean this place.....

It was 6 to 7 Km away from kuttikanam. On the way to Kumaly take a turn and travel off road for another one or two kms. This is a terrain place and we had visited this for a sunrise in early morning. Reached around 6 in late January, we had an awesome few of the sunrise. The wind here... More

Its a wonderfull place where we can see the hills beneath us for several kilometers. Fog and sunlight always playing and the view is changing everytime.

Visit this place, you will not be dissatisfied.. View is excellent if you visit in Monsoon or post monsoon. Google took us in some wrong route from Kumali to this place, but that route was memerizing... You can spend 05.1hr to this place.

Visit at evening 3.00 to 5.00 recommended. Encountering with the sudden mist formation is a an amazing experience.
