One of the older temples of Managalore. Situated in Kadri hills, the main diety is Shiva. It also houses a Ganesha temple and Durga Parameshwari temple. Keep about 1 to 1.5 hours to go around and also see the 7 ponds in the temple

Its one of the oldest temple. A giant one and a must visit place to see while in Mangalore. Apart from the main temple inside the premises there is a huge idol of Lord Hanuman (one has to climb stairs to reach). There is also a water Kund which has water coming 24 hours. A must visit place.

This is an ancient temple more than 1000 years old with Lord Shiva as the presiding deity. The temple has a lot of open space, there is an open pool for bathing etc. Very calm influence once we get into the temple and worth a visit. The visit to the temple is suggested either in the early morning or evening to... More

I am amazed by this truly amazing temple. The Ganga stream and the stand used for lighting of diyas mostly fascinated me.

A great place offering full serenity and solace to the visiting devotee has been on a destruction path in the name of development(commercialisation) with a go by to cleanliness and discipline over the past 5-7 years. The parking and surrounding paved path is full of spit and stench. dirty vehicles are allowed inside temple premises where the devotees have to... More

This is an awesome temple. This temple is made on a mountain. So there are 3-4 different levels. Depends on how much you can climb up the stairs. This is a sacred place, very famous with locals as well. Must visit in Mangalore.

It is a revered temple that once should visit while in Mangalore. Its a big temple of Lord Manjunatha (Shiva). Peaceful and serene, clean and quiet when we went there. Designed as per the old traditional form of temples in this region.

It is typical to west coast architecture with varandha, wooden sloop roof and stone wall. You can find accommodation with advance booking. Free lunch is served to all visitors.
