Wish the local government spent some time and money on the upkeep of SB. It's pretty dirty, especially where the boats dock.

Myself and my wife visited in last week. This place is beautiful but not maintaining well. We can take a ferry ride to tannir bhavi beach at ₹5. Tannir bhavi beach is beautiful beach you can prefer this beach than panambur beach.

The place is just an empty place with a small fort like structure. From the top one can see the beach. It is located just beside the backwaters. Boating is available from this place to Tanirbhavi beach.
