Very bad road till mountain top, avoid going in rains. Jeep drivers try to overtake even in these roads. Once you reach on top,view is good, any moutain for that matters provides good view.

Got dropped at Sitalayyanagiri. Walked 3 kms and 480 steps to reach the top. Joy knw no bounds. Highest peak of karnataka. 6300 feet. One of the finest experience. Nothing was visible except the steps.

Possibility of fog is all around the year because of altitude. No need to worry of leeches. You can go up the hill and park and then walk up the hill. It will be a beautiful view. Also dont plan for very early morning/late... More
