I was just looking for a relaxing massage whilst I was stopping with family in Bangalore and Aadya Ayurveda was recommended. I had heard of Ayurvedic treatments before but was by no means an expert.
My first impression was very welcoming, lovely and clean and the staff were very attentive. After an initial welcome I spoke to their qualified doctor. Having read the web site I had seen how they are able to help all manner of ailments with their oils and massage but for me I did not really have anything wrong. I thought this the most difficult aspect of my visit as I found understanding the accents of the Indian doctor quite tricky, which was disappointing as I felt he had quite a lot to say. He was speaking in English and I cannot speak his language so I should not be critical but unfortunately that was the case. I might add that I find this a problem all over India so perhaps I should be trying to learn the dialects a bit more.
Many of the treatments require numerous visits and as I was only in Bangalore for a limited time, even if I had of required health care, I would not have been able to complete a whole treatment. I spoke to the owner who talked to me about another clinic that he has where visitors can lodge and food is provided which all sounded very interesting.
Anyway back to my massage. I have had many massages in the past but not one like this. I wore only a paper thong to cover my lower half and the massage started on my head and neck whilst I was sat in a chair. It was lovely and relaxing but strong and deep at the same time. I then lay on the wooden bed where I had a full massage front and back top to toe. It was incredible. The massage lady was very skilled and I could feel the heat being generated by her hands as she massaged me in a rhythmical manner. After, I then had the oil treatment which was hot oil pored onto my brow in an amazingly relaxing way. I drifted off somewhere in deep relaxation. Amazingly none of the oil runs into your eyes or ears.
There is a great deal of oil used both in the massage and the hot oil treatment and I am interested in how and where this oil is recycled. So by the end of the treatment which lasted almost 2 hours, with the massage, I was incredibly oily. So after there is an Indian bucket wash with lovely hot water and special products for the body and hair.
I was floating when I came out.
All this for a very reasonable price, certainly a lot cheaper than in the UK

got authentic Ayurvedic massage and treatment for muscle related issues! The doctor know both Ayurveda and Allopathy which helps! The Masseurs are experienced and fabulous! Value for money! Check out their stay-over option at Clifton Park as well! Had a great time there as well!

My parents were treated at Aadya Healthcare for renal and neurological ailments. Their therapies make a big, positive difference to the quality of life especially for the aged. The ambience is great both at Sadashivnagar, and at their retreat in Nelamangala. One of the helpful features is the presence of in house doctors, and their personalized care.

This is a humble, no frills place with trained therapists who know their job well. The reception lady is very friendly and if you call in advance she will be prompt to schedule your therapy. Radha is an exceptional masseur and is very good at her job. Mervin is also a good male masseur. Its a simple abode for traditional ayurveda massage, steam and bath. Highly recommend if you want traditional service and not particularly looking for fancy with frills place.

We went to Aadya Ayurveda Healthcare resort over Christmas with our family. My husband and I were there over Christmas holidays with our two children, ages 10 & 12. What a wonderful and memorable experience! The staff were very friendly and customer service was excellent! The Ayurvedic doctor on site was very knowledgeable. My husband and I opted for the Shirodhara massage and we both felt very relaxed after. There's a beautiful pool for the kids along with other children's activities. The food was exquisite and general ambiance was beautiful. We would highly recommend this location for truly relaxing and memorable experience!
