Once a beautiful park is now in most pathetic state due to so many factors of modern city of Bangalore. You can complain to any one and go to any court but it will be as it IS.

Great place for a morning jog! The park is green, and enough place to play sports, and also has an open gym.

As kids, we used to go to MNK Rao park to play cricket, slides, swings etc. Now, they have added few gym equipment as well. There are neat path ways to walk or jog. Could be crowded sometimes but, ok. You can enjoy the greenery in the park and relax on the several benches available.

Krishna Rao park as it is commonly known is in Basavanagudi area and is always crowded with people. Well known place for morning-walkers and elders, a bustling street-side market is quite a scene with fresh fruits & vegetables in the morning. MNK park is full with flower plants and large trees. A great place for a family visit during summer.

This is one of the old parks in Bengaluru, filled with a bunch of tall trees and beautiful and serene path ways offering an ideal environment for someone wishing to take a long walk, jogging, running etc. There are benches at regular intervals where one can rest after taking a walk. One good thing is, there is no entry fee for this park. Although morning and evening are the ideal times to visit, but if its cloudy or cold, even a mid-day visit is good. In fact, it will be more calm and serene during mid-day hours. Usually the park is less crowded compared to Lalbagh and Cubbon parks, so if you want utmost peace with only melodious chirping of birds in the background, this is the perfect place to spend some time. I have even seen, couple of students and scholars prefer this place for study or to read books, because of the serene and fresh environment they get here. The park also has a playground where young crowd enjoys sports like cricket and badminton. There is separate court for basketball and kids play area. Also one can get advantage of free Yoga sessions during morning hours. Overall its a decent park, only thing I did not like is there are lot of stray dogs that come in your way while walking, something which the park management should look out for.
