Nice big park, though work was going on.

I was stayin in a hotel about 1 km away. So, while walking I googled garden which led me to this park. This was a surprise big park. I enjoyed the walk and walking path was well done.

Though a few parts of the park were still under renovation.

We can say that this is the best park for morning and evening walkers. Walkers inhale fresh air needed for our lungs. This park is very large and suitable for all age groups. There is lot of greenery. Ample play area for children. One can see statues of farmers and animals in one section of the park. There is one big lake inside the park premises.. Lot number of benches to sit and relax when one feels tired after walking/jogging. Surrounding is post residential area.

Evening attraction is the musical fountain show. One is bound to see this without any distraction. Hindi and Kannada songs are played during the show. This show lasts for 20 minutes. Entry fee for the show is Rs.10/- whereas there is no entry fee for the park.

A very large park with lot of greenery and lakes. Large play area for children. Number of benches everywhere to sit and relax. A good place for morning and evening walkers. Statues of animals and farmers look pretty in one section of the park. People, particularly children, like watching these .

Evening attraction is the Musical Fountain Show with a nominal entry fee of Rs.10/- only. One cannot distract his/her eyes even for a minute from the musical fountains with coloured lighting during the show with Hindi and Kannada songs.

The only drawback in the park is the stagnant water in smaller lakes. Cleaning of lakes should be done regularly.

The park is well Maintained and clean and a good place to take your kids. Its very large, the life like statues of farmers / animal etc.. are very beautifully done, and my little ones enjoyed watching them.

There are large play areas for the children and lots of seating space for those who want to take a break.

The park is adjacent swimming pool (Dolphing Aquatics) so one can drop the kids for the swimming lessons while you take a walk.

There is a small food court near the swimming pool (serves sandwiches / corn / popcorn / chaat), or one can also purchase corn / popcorn / ice creams from the hawkers outside the park.

We could not see the musical fountain as we visited on a weekday. Look forward to visiting again.

Been twice to this place with my family and friends . first time was with my friends to celebrate my birthday, my friends had made a plan to cut the cake but unfortunately food items are not allowed inside the park, the entry to the park is free but if you want to enjoy the musical fountain pay Rs 20 which is worth watching, but the shows are only on sundays and public holidays

The musical fountain (ticket worth Rs. 10) on weekends is the focal point of this park. The entry to the park is free.

We visited the park in the evening (on a Sunday) for enjoying the musical fountain show. Be ready to wait in the long queue though. One of us volunteered to stand in the queue while the rest headed to make a round of the park.

This park has a nice and wide walking trail, where we found many visitors running and jogging. Many elders were also walking at a leisurely pace, soaking in the abundant greenery all around. Close to the entrance of this park are big statues of animals and humans, which serve as the ideal backdrop for many a photos clicked by the visitors.

A small rock garden, with steps and seating areas made of broken glass pieces is a noteworthy attraction of JP Park. The large pond with its fishes, which come near the shores to gobble up food thrown by the visitors, is yet another thing to experience.

But the major attraction of this park, without a doubt, is the musical fountain. Two shows occur, one at 7.00 and another at 7.45 pm. Each is of 30 minutes' duration. Mostly local songs with peppy beats are played, though one or two Hindi or English songs too could be on offer. Be sure to grab a good seat at a height to enjoy the show to the fullest and click good pictures/videos.

One of the Best Parks in Bangalore.Located in Mathikere. Such an Amazing wonder in Bengaluru unknown to most of the people in the city. There is a very huge Lake inside the Park with huge Fishes. Its a very well Maintained Park with the Street Peddlers also very Hygienic and Clean. The Musical Fountain is the most attractive inside the Park.It is a very clean and Huge Park so If you Take Senior Citizens only show them the Musical Fountain and make them sit on a bench near the Entrance. There is a Fee for the Musical Fountain at a very cheap price. The Ticket area is very crowded so better reach before 6:45pm to get Tickets or else you will get the Last Seat for the show. Overall an Amazing Park located on the outskirts near Yeshwanthpur. You can get there by either Hiring a Cab or Get a Metro Train from Mantri Square. You have to walk a bit from the Metro station but Negotiable. You can even get a Bus at this Numbers from Majestic to the Bus Stand exactly next to the Park- Ser173A, 253B, 264, 264A, 266, 266A, 266C, 266D, 266E, 268, 269, 271, 271B, 271C, 271D, 271E, 271F, 271 G, 271J, 273, 273C, 273D, 275A, 275B, 275C, 275D, 99B. I have been around this place from past 35+ years, even before the foundation stone was laid for this prestigeous park. A very nice lung place beyond the busy Mathikere and the noisy Yeshwanthpur. Has got good play area for kids and children. Nice jogging/walking area. Musical fountain and a swim coaching centre. In a nutshell, just amazing. Very well maintained as well.. Kudos..

It is another Lalbagh in the north Bangalore. There are hundreds or even thousand trees in the park and you can truly enjoy the nature. It also has a small lake in the park and one must attend fountain show during weekends. Truly the biggest park in Bangalore in terms of size after Lalbagh.
