The beautiful Ulsoor Lake, located in the city center, went through a phase of being thoroughly neglected before it was spruced up again. Boating is a possibility here. A visit to this lake can be combined with a visit to the nearby Gurudwara (Sikh house of worship), Bangalore’s largest.

The lake is quite big, and there is walk-able path paved around it with benches for sitting. There is a play zone to enjoy badminton or such sports. Also few gym equipments are kept. The lake is not much a awe-strucking lake. May not be a compulsory tourist spot.

The place is not so good. Water is all green and not clear. Sometimes it also smells. You can go in the lake park, but again I think it needs more maintenance. Better for couples only. Not for teenagers

Located in the heart of the city - near MG Road. One of the largest lakes in Bangalore. Has a very good side walk for walking, jogging and running or just for relaxation.

Located close to Ulsoor and M.G.Road, this is one of the largest centrally located lake in Bangalore city. Try visiting it during the early hours of morning if you are interested to spot some birds and photograph them. Cool breeze and serenity of the place can be enjoyed in the morning hours. The lake has several islands within it. Surrounded... More

its nice place to walk. However, the upkeep could have been better. Also, there is too much traffic all around the circumference of the lake which makes you inhale pollution inside the park.

I have been there several times, its good place to spend leisure time and it have park too, you can sit around. Boating is good, you can circle around the small island in the middle, at the time of my visit(June-2016), boating is not available. Lots of localities are fishing there. You can get a average foods and ice-creams.
