About
The beautiful Ulsoor Lake, located in the city center, went through a phase of being thoroughly neglected before it was spruced up again. Boating is a possibility here. A visit to this lake can be combined with a visit to the nearby Gurudwara (Sikh house of worship), Bangalore’s largest.

Neighbourhood: Ulsoor
Home to Bangalore’s biggest lake, Ulsoor is one of the oldest neighbourhoods in the city, renowned for its quaint narrow streets lined with stylish home decor stores and boutiques selling handwoven saris and numerous temples like the impressive Halasuru Someshwara Temple, which dates back to the 16th century. Visitors can enjoy the sunset views while boating at the lake, which also has a walking trail along the shore. Connected to the center by the M G Road, Ulsoor remains a sleepy, spread out suburb closely connected with nature and still manages to be hip and buzzing with activity, thanks to a cluster of bakeries, cafes, watering holes and plenty of curio shops in the vicinity.

As someone who was born & brought up near Ulsoor lake, it is and always was very basic, it's a little better these days since Prestige group has done a bit of maintenance. For visitors my advice is depending on your time do visit the lake however nothing much to do

Ulsoor Lake is located in central part of Bangalore city and very near to MG Road, Trinity Circle. If the schedule is not tight and you have enough time to spend, then you can add this place in your itinerary. Boating is available. As of me, the experience was just ok. Thats all.
