The predominantly green area of the park has many motorable roads, and the well-laid-out walking paths running through the park are frequented by early morning walkers and the naturalists who study plants in the tranquil natural environment

A nice spot to sit and enjoy some rest when out and about in the city. I was there on a Saturday so it seemed like a popular destination for families and school groups.

Yes but if you are thinking of cricket or football , the answer is not a NO but it will not be enjoyable as there are no open spaces of that size and exclusivity. There are walkers all over and you hardly get going.

It's an open park and you can spend as long as you want. If for kids, there's Jawahar Bal Bhavan inside the park and kids can try rides including train rides and spend 1 or 2 hours there playing.
