Oldest area of bengaluru...must visit area for all...you have lot of old monuments around....lots of education institutions, hotels, restaurants...parks, shopping street, food street....BEST IN BENGALURU

The market surprisingly is very clean and organized. There are food stalls on either side of the road. I go here to buy authentic kannada style sweets.

Getting its name from bull temple situated here basvangudi has a great history.. It is a place of temples, kadlekai fair and shopping hub Gandhi bazaar. Its an amazing place to enjoy your time out from home. Time just flies by.. Love this place

Basvangudi gives you the true feeling of Bangalore of old times , the market and several houses being more than 100 year old . The bakeries, the textile shops, home made snack shops and the temples.. makes it a very homely earthy experience to enjoy

The flower market, fruits, the restaurant - Vidyarthi Bhavan all a perfect mix of local culture. Would highly recommend for someone who likes to soak into old Bangalore way of life.

30 mins is more than sufficient to cover both the temples. They are literally next to each other.
