Attention to all the bookworms and bibliophiles of the city for there is another bookstore which can become your weekend guilty pleasure. Located on Kalyan Nagar’s busy CMR road is this cozy and compact literary treasure. This adorable store has become quite popular in the neighborhood because of its humble and simple appearance. Through the glass doors, you can see the books neatly stacked according to the genre. Don’t get thrown off by the size of the store as the collection of the books is quite unique and interesting. As you walk into the store, note how neatly the books are stacked up against the wall. Though the shop is small nevertheless they retain an interesting collection of books. I especially liked the diverse range of the classic literature and Indian writing starting from Dostoevsky to the controversial Perumal Murugan. There are also second hand books and comics available for sale as well. If you are a first time reader and aren’t sure what to buy, the owner would be more than happy to help you pick out a book. Similar to their store at the Prithvi theatre in Mumbai, this is also a small area with a wide range of literary collection.
