About the Trek: I onboarded at Mekhari circle in the morning and PTU bus was there right on time.
I already received mail from PTU and hence was having all contact numbers of leaders. In the morning they also shared the bus location on whats app.
The trek is easy to moderate. You can leisurely trek; and can take break whenever you want, take photographs and still you can reach at the top within time limit.
For us weather was also nice; not too hot or cold so it was indeed pleasure.
While returning as we had a time with us; we detour a bit and experienced the sunset. It was little unexpected as sunset was not in our original itinerary. Good that PTU took this decision accordingly the time limit; and we all were happy to experience the unexpected and beautiful sunset.
After the sunset and enough dark outside; inside the bus there was amazing lighting; which set the mood to dance and rest is executed by PTU enthu. leaders.
About PTU: I had quite a few treks in Maharashtra and this was my 1st trek with PTU and in Karnataka. PTU leaders Oshin, Prakrithi and Yash all are very supportive and enthusiastic. They will break the ice within the trekkers and actively take part in all games/dance/taking snaps etc. so you will never feel lonely (I was travelling alone). You will feel safe and will also enjoy the journey.
Overall very pleasurable and memorable one day trip and I will go for few more treks with PTU.

I went with PTU on Kodachadri Trek this month. It was my first trek and it was one of the best experiences ever. The energy, motivation, fun were all high right after leaving Bangalore, till coming back.
Our Trek Leaders: Oshin and Jolly are terrific people. Throughout the trek and the journey, they were highly motivational, energetic, supportive and inculcating team spirit in us. The co-ordination between them was amazing. They did not rush and were always there with the last person to ensure everyone completed the trek. They kept us engaged throughout the trek by telling us about their previous experiences of this place and local facts. The way they handled everything so efficiently, and brought our group of strangers together gives a solid testimony of the organisation they work with. Rating 6/5. Yes, its 6 on 5.
Trek: You really need to go with PTU to experience it. It was out of this world. Amazing views, amazing place; and it has variety of terrains so you can have a taste of everything on this trek. As it was monsoon, leeches were out and hungry, but Jolly and Oshin addressed this issue well before the trek started and helped us during the trek to keep them away or remove them if they stuck to us. The jeep ride back to the base was scary but it is a must have experience atleast once. Rating 5/5.
Accommodation: They had arranged a Home Stay couple of kilometers away from the trek start point. Accommodation was in dorms, separate for men and women. Rooms were spotless clean. Toilets were not so clean but tolerable. Food was simple with basic veg spread but it was scrumptious. The hosts were an elderly couple who made sure that everyone of us ate to the brim. Rating 5/5.
Transport: We were 20 people so there was a mini-bus. The buses that were arranged were sanitised, well maintained and comfortable; and the driver was trustworthy. Rating 5/5.
Overall, the experience was extraordinary and PTU made it happen. I will definitely choose PTU for my upcoming treks; and to the readers of this review, I highly recommend them for your treks. They work really hard and it showed up.
Wish I could give more than 5 stars here.

Have done 2 treks with ptu. It's certain that ptu being an organization of 2-3 years old, has properly acquired the skills to cater like minded, young crowd very well. Simply, if you are young and entusiastic and want to explore some offbeat places, fresh perspectives, new faces to interact for a couple of days without bothering much about your routine lifestyle, you will love their treks. Yes, there are some improvements needed in terms of management, e.g. last minute iternary changes, unavailability of basic stuffs like sleeping bags and tents at the campsites for all participants and so. Overall, I will recommend anyone who wants to explore beautiful places along with easy to moderate treks can try ptu.
Recently went for kodaikanal trek. And the experience was very pleasant. The trek leads Matty, Abishek and Vaibhav were experienced and made the whole trip enjoyable.👍👍

Hampi with Dumpty!
The trip with PTU came across as as an absolute breath of fresh air 😃. Considering I went with little expectation being a last minute plan, having read just a few reviews.
Right at the outset, the deadly duo of team leads, Shivam and Sanjeevani made the journey absolutely effortless and enjoyable. With a lovely crisp ice breaking session with the small group up 12 young trekkers, they ensured the bonding happened almost instantaneously making the to and fro night journeys pass unnoticeable with lot of fun and cool music vibing all the way, Not taking any credit away from the skillful driver. A seasonal mention of Naresh-whose beautiful brand new property was paid a maiden visit by our group. The staff was extremely helpful and the food served for breakfast and dinner was absolutely sumptuous to say the least. We were often pleasantly surprised by hit pakoras and chai in during the cold morning breakfast and late evenings. The best part was the toilets were very clean and good sanitation facilities. With Naresh having exclusive ties up with PTU and assuring of adding more cabin rooms and improving the landscaping over the next few months , I have no doubts that this would soon to be one if the most sought after camping sites in the months and years to come.
With PTU reconvening their love for Hampi after a good 2 years, the day 1 began with some Adrenalin rush-adventures of the famous Hampi boulder climbing, followed by cliff jumping. While Shivam motivated each and everyone comforting to participate sportingly and with him leading from the front, Sanjeevani was silently capturing beautiful memories of the activities on her camera. The day ended with the group feeling a big high and a great sense of achievement
We throughly enjoyed impeccable sunset points diligently selected and the late night game seasons. The restaurants chosen for lunch were neat & clean and served some very Tasty food with the perfect holiday vibe.
To summarize, for the youthful energies of Shivam & Sanjeevani…all I would like to say is BOHOT HARD 🤗. I would recommend PTU to each and every solo traveler looking to explore Hampi, we explored everything Hampi optimally in the safest environment and the most flexible possible form.
So for me, it was don’t worry, be Hampi it was 😊👍
Request PTU to add more locations across India and look forward to my next trip with them sooner .

Recently I was part of PTU kodachadri new year trek and for me it was best new year celebration till now. We were 2 girls who were hesitant initially to book a new year trip with strangers but it was more than what we expected. There were 4 trek leads, all very sweet, supportive, encouraging and fun ppl. Trip included lovely home stay along with scrumptious food, camp fire, dancing, and mud games. Ending the first day of new year with a pichuresque sun set view on Maravanthe beach made my day 🙃 We 19 ppl started our trip as strangers but by the end we mad, crazy ppl turned into FRIENDS.
Please keep planning such amazing trips, you guys are great and doing a very good job 👍

I went for kudremukh trek with plan the planned, this was my first experience with PTU and I really appreciate the complete execution of the trek starting with pick up point till the drop point. Medha has been a strong and motivating trek lead during the trek, though I had visited solo I din’t feel that I was out with strangers.. everyone were friendly and generous, we played games, took walks during our free time, got to learn lot of travel stories from different travellers.
I really like the fact of PTU keeping plan B if plan A fails..
I would really love to recommend folks to have an experience with PTU atleast once..it’s really worth visiting with this group.

Went to Gokarna with PTU (Plan The Unplanned). The three words to describe the trip briefly will be: INDELIBLE, INEFFABLE, AND INCREDIBLE.
The whole experience was truly magnificent — the trek leaders, the other folks, and the places were the best I could ask for.
The serenity at the beaches and the beautiful views were just breathtaking and mesmerizing.
The trek leaders, Jolly and Gayathri, were highly skilled and jovial. They constantly kept our energies up by arranging good games and campfire at beach, recounting good stories and facts, and taking us to the best and hidden spots (Sunset Point) of Gokarna. The aura at Vibhuti Falls and the Mangrove forest was also awe-inspiring.
A big kudos to PTU and the lovely folks who joined the trip. From bantering and pulling each other's legs to helping one another and sharing personal stories — everyone had a ball during the 2-day trip.
Really can't wait to go somewhere again with PTU and my new folks/friends.

I went for the Monsoon Kodachadri Trek. This was my second trek with a group and i must say, i got more than what i expected. The planning of the trip, the organization, especially the itinerary and schedule was very flexible yet very punctual. The safety is something you don't even have to think about. The part that i was touched the most about were the leads, Akshay, Anuraag and Rucha were so inspiring, they weren't just representing Plan the Unplanned, but it felt like they are our friends and kept us together and motivated throughout. Their activities, the way they kept us together made a group of 35 strangers into 35 friends in just 2 days. 10 out of 10 for Plan the Unplanned. For as long as i am in Bangalore, my go to travel group will be PTU. PTU, YOU ROCK!!

Worst trip ever!
We pay premium amounts in PTU, to get the best experience. But it seems like we just pay for the enjoyment of trek leads and the company's profit.
Bad Points:-
1. They increased the group size from 12 to 24 on the last day to maximize profit, but the arrangements were not done for proper logistics and stay.
2. At the end of day 1 of the adventure trip in Mulki, we did not know where to rest and sleep till 11 pm.
3. Trek leads did all the activities themselves in the beginning and then left us there with Kayak Boy's trainers. They were not seen after that to address our concerns.
4. They planned the food stoppages at very bad locations with no option. We got to know from the restaurant officials that they have tie-ups with PTU to stop there, and the food was not even worth eating.
Good Point:
1. The only highlight of the trip was the Bio-luminescence experience on the backwaters during kayaking.
Kindly consider planning on your own instead of taking services from PTU by paying such high premium amounts.

Hi,
This is from Vishwanath and Shreya Kulkarni.
The excellent trekking experiences I heard about inspired me to make trekking a high priority for my year-end vacation. I took my daughter on the trek to Gokarna with PTU, and I would like to thank Matty and Kavya, our trek leaders and fellow trekkers, for giving us an unforgettable experience.
After being at home for almost two years due to covid, this trip helped us experience something new and different.
My trek along the coastline through Gokarna's flora brought me closer to nature, which has always been dear to my heart.
Getting wet in the salty water of the Half-moon beach and the Om beach was a relaxing experience for us.
With the sunset, the temperature dropped, so we lit a bonfire and enjoyed the warmth while playing games.
A night spent in a tent with a view of the sea and awakening to the sound of the waves and watching the sunrise is one of the most memorable experiences.
A breathtaking view of the Vibhuti Falls was worth trekking for 2 kilometers. We enjoyed diving and swimming in the cold water.
As if a dream had come true, we sailed through the backwaters of Honnavar.
On both days of our stay, we happily ate the local food to satisfy our minds, hearts, and stomachs.
On the way back to Bangalore, we bid our farewells to Gokarna and our friends who we met during the trip as we watched the sunset.
As a result of this trek, we are motivated and inspired to do even more trekking and to enjoy nature even more.
