My wife and 2 kids went there. They have 2 packages - One with all rides at INR 299. Another with all rides + Aqua Kingdom (water park) @ INR 499.
We entered inside and the place sucks. Everything is in shambles. No maintenance. The place looks haunted with lots of spaces vacant and gives a feeling as it is still under construction. Many rides are not in full working condition - Dashing cars, mini golf, mining, haunted house,....
Only thing worth seeing was Ripleys, 4D cinema, mirror maze.
Aqua Kingdom Water Park sucks. There are no water rides. It is just a Wave pool for which they are charging extra INR 200. No proper changing rooms, rest rooms. Utter waste of money. This was a complete rip off.
Overall, this is no comparision to Wonderla which is many times better.

18th June 2011 - Visited IFC along with my cousins
Distance from Hebbal to IFC - 30kms. we reached IFC by 13.00 hrs.
It is easily accessible from Mysore road with enough sign boards to guide u
Parking - Enough space to park but no shade for the parking area
Entry Fees - Minimum you have to pay Rs.299/- per person as Entry fees + to visit 23 other attractions except Aqua kingdom, which u have to pay Rs 499/-
As per Trip advisor review, we 2k the minimum package of Rs299/-
Attractions:
Wannado Entry, Mirror Maze, Roller Coaster, 4D, Bow and Arrow, Roller skates - V had FUN UNLIMITED....v enjoyed the most..
Dino Park, Fossil Museum, Wax Museum, Ripley's -
Informative and unbelievable
Mining, Carousel, Talkies and Haunted Mansion (Far far better in Garuda Mall) were total waste.
There r lot of kids games and they vl enjoy a LOT !!! (like Toddlers Den, Kids play, Roll-a-ball)
Innovative Teddy - was Fun
BATA shops were also seen inside the IFC
FOOD - u will get all kinds of foods - Hyderabadi biriyani, Udupi lunch, Kerala food etc....There is a CafeCoffee day and MacD outlet as well.
By 7pm, v came out of IFC. Overall it was Fun and must go place, at least ONCE !!!!!!!

So we happen to visit this place on a Weekday and post 3 pm. 3 hours are more than enough provided you don't want to do the water slides ! If you enter after 3 pm the ticket charges are cut down by 40%. So we took a Mysore road from hebbal and reached this place within an hour. The highway was a better route to opt as less traffic and much wider roads. The entry of this place really gives you an amazing look of entering into a Film City but as soon as you walk yourself around you will notice the place needs maintenance & cleanliness.. You have so many options to do here right from visiting the Tribal village to old cinema theatres Whr they play any old movie to an old court, an aero model to a Jurassic park to museum of actor's statue to Ripley's believe it or to try hands on Archery & a magical show, haunted house, mirror maze. This all is a package included in the per ticket entry charges of 399/-. All was fun to experience but it was very dirty.. !!! Only place which was to an extent cleaned and felt good was Ripley's believe it or not !! I wish a structure like this doesn't go wasted. Authorities must maintain it as the work done to build such a place is commendable.

Terrible
The Film city is not in operation and closed for visitors. They have sold this property to someone else and not updated the status in any public Domen.
I went on 29th Dec 2022 with family and came to know about it after reaching there, driving 50 km.
Fortunately, "Wonderla" was nearby which made my day.

The place is mainly built for shooting purposes. Many reality shows happening here like big boss & people are allowed to experience some games & it have good cafeteria with good food. We easily spend whole day without getting bored. It is worth the money.

Visited Innovative Film city today with family.
It is easily accessible from the Mysore road, and well sign-posted. First observation - plenty of security guards available to guide visitors to the parking areas. No shade for the parking, so in the summer heat, it is quite uncomfortable to return to a hot car.
Based on earlier reccomendations on this site, I had decided to
a. buy entry tickets of Rs. 50 each, not the passes
b. buy a still camera ticket for Rs. 100
c. limit the areas we would visit
After entering, we passed through Main Street - this is modelled on Disney World/Universal Studios - and is still in development.
First stop - Mirror maze: it is fun activity for all age groups. It does get crowded though. Some security guards are deployed inside to ensure that you do end up going round in circles. I for one was completely disoriented within 30 seconds. They give you throw away plastic gloves to wear. I suppose it is protect the mirrors from the human touch, and also protection for us. Rs 75/person
Second- Dino world: mechanical models of various Dinos; kids were quite happy to pose with many of them. Rs. 50/person
Third- 4D movie @ Funplex - great fun; will not say anything more. You MUST do this, it's the BEST part at IFC that I have experienced. Rs. 100/person
Fourth- Go Karting@VELOCITY: Enjoyable. Two options available for the cars. Regular ones - single seater; sportive model; you need to be 15+ to do this; Family cars - two seater models; slow n steady. 4 rounds allowed. Track size is small. Rs 150/family car
Fifth-Karoake: Never done it before; sang a song today; my family said I sang well; probably others had to turn a deaf ear :) Recorded it on to a CD - charges Rs. 50/-
Sixth-Aqua Kingdom: So-so. The wave pool is turned on for 10-15 mins an hour. Not sure that allowing people to get into the pool fully clothed is hygienic. Benefit: Women seem to be happy - no need to change into swimming costumes. The music was too loud, again maybe by design. The number of chairs with shades are too less... more needed, particularly on weekends. Kids had fun, more so when the waves machine was on. Cost - 150/adult; 100/kids
For next time -
1. Wannado City on Main Street - for kids
2. Innovative Talkies on Main Street - see a movie in a "tent" cinema!
3. Haunted Mansion
4. Ripley's Believe it or Not
Food items:
1. Coke/Fanta... 25-30/cup
2. French Fries - Godrej - 55/plate - counter has uses seperate oil for frying veg/non-veg... good to see this, peace of mind for some veggies I am sure!
Did not try out their food court.
Do:
1. Carry water - no issues on this
2. Caps/sun-glasses/sun lotion for protection - depends on the weather
3. Shorts, if not swimwear for Aqua Kingdom.
If you are a Bangalorean, you may want to plan multiple visits instead of covering all places in a single visit.

We visited IFC (innovative film city) in the month of November. It is situated in Bidadi Industrial area and only 50 KM from Bangalore.
It's a complete fun package in itself. And yes too big to cover in 1 day, in this way they make sure you keep on visiting again. Initial entry ticket is just 50 rs. then you have option of either taking tickets at every attraction or taking a package of 700(which includes almost every attraction). We took basic entry ticket and then paid of attractions we visited. You have many choices like-Aqua Kingdom, Funplex, Go-karting, Mini Golf, Mirror Maze, Cartoon City,Dinosaur World, Miniature City, Roller Skates , Wild Wild West, Jurassic Fossil Museum, Louis Tussad's Wax Museum, Ripley's Believe It Or Not, Haunted mansion etc. etc.
Believe me we were able to cover only 6 of them and we were dead tired for the day. One good thing about this place is all these things are located very near to each other so u dont have to walk a lot. Food court is also good with lots of verities.
Out of all 4D, Dinosaur World and Wax Museum no one should miss. If u want to try Aqua Kingdom make sure u carry extra clothes with from home otherwise you have to buy from there (nothing on rent is available).
Overall its a Fun and must go place.

I was visiting Innovative film City(Bidadi) with family a couple of weeks back and parked my car in the secured parking of IFC .When we came out to the parking lot in evening we found that the music system ,the LCD screen & wallet were stolen from the car. We immediately reported the same to the security but they were not ready to accept the fact that this has happened inside their parking area. Moreover they continuously misbehaved and tried to ignore the incident..PLEASE BEWARE BEFORE YOU PARK YOUR CAR @ IFC. secured parking area you might loose your car also.

For: Plenty of things to see, have something for everyone with different tastes (art, fun etc), Ripley's is nice, kids have many more attractions
Against: Not worth travelling the distance, pricey, not greatly maintained for the price, will take a lot of time.
Please don't go on a weekday! It will be deserted as expected. Also, there will be some deals always active. I didn't do enough research upfront but found a deal when I was near the ticket counter. Shame that I couldn't use it because they needed a print-out! And no printing places close by. So, do your research, find a deal and take a print-out!

Kindly help on the below.
How is the food quality? Is it worth? If no is there any hotel inside for food in a budget.
Is all the Rides will be available . Anything specific which is under maintenance .
Written 13 February 2019
Hey ita good place with family, rides are good, food is ok and lil expensive, currently when i have been there no rides were under maintenance, it will be a great experience
Written 13 February 2019
The dinosaur park is good having some varieties but compared to my earlier visit on this time I could see it is unmaintained dirty and no greenery. The background sounds which adds to the naturality is also gone and not impressive. Overall not kept clean, smelly and looks dry.
