I booked a city tour through Bangalore (advertised as “Bangalore through the ages” on the web page) which I highly recommend to all those who would like to get a comprehensive overview of the city, its history and the most important sights.

My guide Pradeep was very competent with a huge knowledge about the history and culture of India, and Bangalore in particular. He turned this tour not only into a highly informative experience, but also did his best to make the day as most enjoyable as possible for me. The tour took me to places which I surely wouldn’t have visited on my own and was full of authentic insights.

I also would like to thank Praveen for the smooth organization of the tour as well as my onward journey to Mysore. He’s a very trustworthy guy!

I reached out to Praveen to help coordinate a tour for 55 ppl (moslyt first timers in Bangalore). I had a few ideas and he helped me narrow it down based on my time constraints (traffic to and from hotel and dinner reservations). I met him and his associate at Bull Temple he's warm smile assured me we're going to have a great time! We divided into 2 groups and explored the grounds soon as we were done we headed onto our buses to Cubbon Park to visit the Government Museum. Both guides were both very knowledgable and liked how the group of wikipedians chimed in.
I would highly recommend Hidden Gems Tours. I really appreciated how he went the extra mile and helped me coordinate a wonderful tour.

After a work seminar in Bangalore, I was introduced to Praveen's Bangalore tour by a couple of friends. The booking was very fast, I didn't even need a phone to book, he responded to my Whatsapp message and emails very quickly. Next morning, Praveen picked me up from the hotel and we drove to Bangalore.

I was quite surprised by the depth of knowledge and the passion that Praveen had for Bangalore or India's culture in general. He amazed me with lots of new information such as how many languages Indian could speak, how Indian may look the same but are indeed very different, etc.

Our day started with a tradditional Indian milk coffee at the very heart of Bangalore. Then for the next few hours we trekked in Bangalore's biggest park with tons of great trees. I enjoyed it very much as Praveen talked about the trees but he also attached lots of information about how India was colonized and how the wars took places.

We also visited the Bull template, the big market where everything seemed to be quite out of order, and a few museums.

Overall, I am quite happy with the tour and would recommend to anyone who wish to have a feel of Indian culture in Bangalore.

I did the Gourmet trail food tour with Praveen. Had lots, and I mean lots of food, at 3 locations. Good variety of food and Praveen was great company. Liver on toast was a surprisingly good start followed by more traditional Indian food. Enjoyable way to pass a few hours midday in Bangalore.

Praveen is clearly an expert in all things Bangalore. It's like taking a whirlwind in-person crash course in the city's history and culture (and food!) (and flower markets!). We came away feeling like we really have a solid understanding of the city. Very, very highly recommended!

Had an amazing 6 days in Bengaluru with the customised itinerary prepared by Hidden Gems Tours.

Visited ancient temples and palaces that took our breath away, and the food was unforgettable. The visit to Toit Brewery was really fun and met many friendly beer-loving folks.

Most notable were the day trip out to the beautiful Mysore Palace and the hike up Nandi Hills that had spectacular views of Bengaluru.

Would like to specially thank Praveen and Pradeep who were very knowledgeable and shared so many interesting facts about South India's history. Also would like to thank Sanjana who took care of us and was great company. Special thanks too to Mohan, our driver, for his expert navigation!! We hope to see you all soon!!

We will definitely recommend Hidden Gems Tours to anyone who wants to visit and explore South India.

Our weekend trip to Mysore was like hanging out with a friend all weekend. we felt completely safe and at ease, with Praveen and he made it so we could relax and enjoy ourselves while he took care of everything. He had relationships with many locals, which resulted in us avoiding long lines in certain touristy spots. We loved all the restaurants he took us to and encouraged us to try new foods. he always ensured our bellies were full and we had plenty of bottled water to take along with us. Praveen is a huge history buff and was able to provide context and interesting facts at every stop on our journey.

Don’t hesitate booking! We booked the all day tour to Mysore - and this was not just a tour, but a cultural experience! Praveen immersed us in the “behind the scenes” experiences, while ensuring we were completely comfortable. He went above and beyond what I would ever expect from a guide, ensuring that we had the most incredible experience. He was flexible with our schedules. The main highway to Mysore was shut down, and Praveen expertly navigated the backroads - leading to more “behind the scenes” sights! He made our trip really memorable. Not to mention - the actual sights were incredible! I was not expecting such history, majesty, and diversity. Amazing food and snacks along the way. Great pictures. You can tell that Praveen really loves what he does and takes pride in this company, and has high expectations to ensure his guests have the best experience. I was not expecting such a good time, and am so glad we did this.

I did two of Praveen's online experiences about India and both of them blew my mind. He is both extremely knowledgeable and relatable. He combined food, sights, festivals, history, and architecture in such an interactive and innovative way and showed us the beautify and diversity of India. If I go to India, he will be the first one I would get in touch with for a fully immersive and authentic experience there. His love and passion for his country are evitable every minute.
