Can see the confluence of the two rivers clearly. Not really a unique sight to visit given the distance required to travel.

Nice and calm place but nothing great otherwise when compared to other places in Ladakh. The water and the surrounding mountains have a calming effect and make for good photographs. There were bill boards announcing rafting but this had probably not started at the time...More

Drive from Leh thro magnetic hill and Gurudwara. A great place to see the two rivers meeting from the top. Guess the distinct colour difference might be seen towards May end all the way till September when there is more water. In winter heard that...More

It was nothing but the world's highest rafting point!! The efforts made by the Border Roads Organisations are clearly seen here.

Was okey type of you are not doing rafting . Though the cross-section of the neighbouring mountains , exposed due to weathering ,gives a good idea of mountain formation and other geological activities of Himalaya .

The altitude of the confluence is lower than Leh. The road to the spot is good. If you have acclimatised yourself at Leh for a day, there won't be any problem.
I am visiting Ladakh with my family. Can we cover Hall of fame, Spituhb monastery, Pather Sahib Gurduvar, magnetic Hill, Confluence, Alchi temple in one day? How far is confluence from Leh? Is it possible to do rafting at Confluence? Which is the best time to do ?How about safety measures? How must is the cost?
