Khardung La pass one of the highest passes in the world was an amazing sight to see. Crowded? Yes way more crowded than Changla pass but worth it nevertheless.

Snow clad mountains, jamming traffic, chilling cold and lack of oxygen, altogether make this highest motorable road a memorable experience.Everyone wants to take a picture in front of the board depicting the altitude.Once in a lifetime experience.

The way from Leh to kardung la is the best if u try all the shortcut routes available else it would be a gradual hill climb.

Hello everyone. I want to travel from Pune to Khardung La Pass. I am 50 year old male and have purchased a RE Thunderbird 350 for this trip. Is there a group travelling to Khardung La Pass in July 2017 that I can join? Do I need to arrange any passes / permits for visiting this place? How much preparation time is required? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks and regards Atul
