Located close to the Dal lake, these gardens are prime attractions in Srinagar. Beautiful collection of flowers, fountains and ample space for families to relax. Also click photos in traditional kashmiri clothes.

The garden is in form of a terrace and may be considered to be a large one. There is a beautiful water canal in the middle, but nothing eye catching.

This is a well maintained garden, with different flowers and trees all over the place. It could've been a great place place to relax, had there been some less crowd.

I have to say this it was pure magic visiting these gardens, had they not been there, the site would have been just a dull patch of land. You have to visit all the gardens to experienece what Mughals thought while creating them.... I specially went to touch the black pavillion built by #Shahjahan and to drink from the fountain... This garden was built by Mughal Emperor Jahangir for his favorite wife Nur Jahan in 1619. The garden (Bagh) is considered the high point of Mughal horticulture. Beautiful landscaped gardens with running fountains. We have seen pictures of the garden in full bloom, but sadly during our visit in winter of February 2016, the garden was bare. All the same... Nice garden with beautiful flowers and a fountain in between. Provides a very nice view of the Dal lake. There is a nominal entry charge.
