Visited the Mughal Gardens in Srinagar for the third time and am sorry to find that its splendor keeps on fading over the years. It is still a beautiful place to stroll through never the less, with its majestic landscaping, fountains and architecture. A must see if you ever find yourself in Srinagar.

The place was partially covered in snow when we visited. The garden is well maintained and clean. The staff must be finding hard to prevent the hooligans from writing on the walls of the beautiful place. The grace of the garden must be worth looking during Autumn

There are various gardens in Srinagar. This one is the best with variety of flowers and beautiful chinar trees around. Well maintained and clean place. There are very few tourists around these days. Some more people visiting this place would be helpful for localites..

I visited during the troubles. There was almost no one there. It reminded me of a scene from Alice in Wonderland. Gardeners everywhere. Cutting grass, pruning flowers, collecting the compost etc . It was so peaceful and wonderful. 24 rupees entrance fees. A total bargain. Cascades, fountains and beautiful flowers. Lovely place to sit and read

I don't remember off hand. Can be found online quite easily. It should be 10 to 630 at least.
