Our trek was truly exceptional! I had an absolutely fantastic time throughout. The crew accompanying us was not only skilled but was always smiling and very helpful. I must specifically commend Zakir for his outstanding guidance. A big thank you for providing us with such an incredible experience. This adventure will remain in my memory forever.

Riyaz was a great trekking guide! Our time in Kashmir was short so we were only able to do a 1 day trek in the Himalayas and it was 100% worth it. The landscape is truly remarkable and the hospitality with the locals was just as incredible. Starting at a 5,000 year old temple sets the stage of the beauty of the hike and I can't say enough about it. Riyaz is knowledgable about the area and had a great driver to get us out there and back to our hotel. We can't recommend this company enough, they have a hike for you regardless of your physical shape or time you are in Kashmir. Riyaz brought the most delicious lunch for us as well which helped us get through the 7 mile trek! Thanks Riyaz, looking forward to another trek with you in the future!

Me and my 2 friends did the Kashmir great lakes trek in August with Riyaz. It was one of the best experiences we had on our trip and I would recommend to anyone. Not only is the area beautiful but we met amazing people in our group and the food cooked for us was great. We even got a ill on the 2nd day of the trek and Riyaz was very knowledgeable and caring and we were able to finish the trek happy and healthy! The trek itself is not too hard but still very rewarding with some high passes. The alpine Scenery is breathtaking. An amazing experience with an amazing team - defiantly go with this local family run business!

Our family with 3 teenage daughters went on a trek to see great Kashnir lakes. We were fully acclimatised after 2 weeks in Ladakh, so we didn't have any problems with altitude.
This trek was pure mountain heaven. The scenery around us was breathtaking and we never had enough. But the real gem of this trek was our team. Everything was taken care of, food was sooooo tasteful, and we will never forget those smiling faces of our horsemen. Our guide was a great guy to talk to about almost everything, funny and great cook. They allways take care of the nature, camp in secluded spaces, and are very sensitive about the environment, because they live there.
We ckuldn't get a better guide.

The walk through valley of flowers after Gadsar pass was ethereal. Constant rain was a dampner, though.
The team under Reyaz Pakhtoon is very professional and helpful. That goes a long way in making the trek extremely memorable, especially when you don't have to bother about nitty -gritties. And what can I say about the whole trek!! It's possibly the prettiest trek in India. The trails, the streams, the meadows dotted with sheep, the passes, the lakes, the mountains, the clouds, the pristine blue skies, the boulders, the flowers, the red velvet rain mites, the rare yellow slugs, the rainbow trout, the two-man tents, the sleeping bags, the bottle parades, the boiled eggs and boiled potato lunches, the garam chai, the pakoras, the kahwa, the namak wali chai with roti. All in all, an experience of a lifetime. Budget trek Kashmir is highly recommended. Believe me, you'll thank me!!

We couldn't have chosen better than Budget Trek Kashmir for the Kashmir Great Lakes Trek. The arrangements were perfect and the trek team led by Zahoor was most considerate and helpful all along. Mama kept us well fed and the porters, Noorani, Mushtaq, Muddasir, Musa and Latif, did a commendable job considering the weather we encountered. All in all, thanks to Riyaz for a memorable trek. Looking forward to more trips with Budget Trek Kashmir.

We contacted Riyaz super spontaneously and still he made a 3 days trek possible for us already the next day. He was a great and experienced guide and we felt safe at every moment on the way. Noteworthy is also his team, very charming and helpful men. A very special experience which I wouldn’t miss out on!

Riyaz and his team were extraordinary guides for our three night/days trek on part of the Seven Great Lakes Trek. We booked very spontaneously but Riyaz nevertheless was able to provide us with tents and food. Apart from that there was a great vibe in the camp and everybody got along well and shared stories. Will definitely book again with Riyaz!

We did Tarsar Marsar with Riyaz Bhai and his team. That was our very first trek in Kashmir and oh boy, did they make it every bit memorable! Special thanks to chacha who cooked amazing meals for us, Maai Baba or guide Mainuddin for the constant support throughout the trek, for not leaving our side once, and everyone else in the team. From hospitality to tents, food, airport pickup and drop, you can trust them to take care of it all. If you are not looking for a brand, rather want to do it the local way, Riyaz Bhai is the go to person. We were so happy about the experience that now we are planning to do KGL with them again. Highly recommended!
