The view from the 3rd last tier of multi level garden is worth it
Nov 2021
It is well maintained and it is best to visit the same in summer. In autumn/winter one can skip it. However, the view from the 3rd last pier of the stepping garden levels and the central vista overlooking DAL is beautiful and worth it.

Scenic garden
Aug 2021 • Couples
It is a typical Mughal garden close to the dal lake. Outside the garden is a big market and many eateries. There a few steps first to approach the garden. There are central sequential fountains and on the sides are flowers and lawns. It is very scenic as on one side you have the dal lake and back side you have lovely mountains. It provides good photographic opportunity. They charge ₹ 24 per adult entry. Overall a good place to visit in Srinagar.

The biggest of them all !
Apr 2021
Nishat Bagh, as known more popularly, is the biggest of all the gardens in Srinagar. True Mughal architecture is best displayed in its stepped manicured gardens and structures. Its proximity to one of the jettys of the Dal Lake makes it more easily accessible and lends its a picturesque setting.

During winter there is nothing to see. Can be avoided during winter. There is no view and unnecessary expenses.

Astounding beauty even when not in full bloom
Dec 2020
Mughal architecture at its best. The winters don't provide full bloom as you'll only find fallen leaves but even the bare trees with their shapes look gorgeous. Its a great experience to visit the Mughal gardens of Kashmir and not to be missed in any season as each season provides its own colours and adds to its natural beauty. Tickets cost rs. 24 for adults. People with mobility issues are better off staying away as it is a terraced garden and has a lot of steps involved.

Before visiting nishat garden, be prepared for a long walk! but let me tell you.. you wont get tired as the spectacular beauty of this garden will leave you spellbound. situated at the banks of dal lake, the terraces of the garden rise higher up till the mountain. the garden has so many beautiful flowers, chinar trees, central line of fountains with water channel & mini waterfalls. you can take your photograph in traditional Kashmiri dress as well. try to visit in the evening to witness a breathtaking sunset over dal lake.

Feb 2020 • Family
The beautiful garden is set up near the Dal lake and has a very minimal entry fee... One can sit, enjoy and children can play in the huge garden premises.... Well maintained..... Beautiful picturesque landscapes in the backdrop..... Looks beautiful in spring and summer.... And there is a shopping complex opposite the garden....
