In my opinion, January is the best time to visit this holy place. Although its very cold that time but atleast you get the entry through the natural cave. Otherwise, you have to go through the man made cave.

We will reach Katra by 24th September evening around 4:30 pm. We intend to start climbing for the darshan that day only. We will visit only Vaishno Devi. We want to book the return tickets on 25th September HImgiri Express at 22:35 pm. Is it possible to do the darshan and get that return train? Please kindly assist us. Jai Mata Di!
