You can shop as well as have an experience of Buddha culture as monetary is very near to Mall road .Spend some time here in between your shopping .

A beautiful Monastery very close to mall road. Situated opposite to mall road. An off beat place but not to be missed due to beauty in the small Monastery.

Tibetan Monastery: A small monastery located in the heart of Manali, few meters from the mall road. Has a meditation room, prayer wheels and an Idol of Lord Buddha.

This place is small, but I was amused by the story told about this place by our driver. Gompa is covered by a huge Yellow roof, it was built by the Tibetan refugees . It is amazing to see the Buddhist culture. This monastery also has some small stalls which can be patronized, so that it can help the women... More

Only for those interested in exploring buddhist culture.Very nice and big statue of lord Buddha is there. A meditation hall is there above the main temple.Do go there to experience peace.

this place feels like heaven on earth. the snow covered mountains makes me remember the shooting of kaho na pyar h . it is really amazing to visit this place.

It's oldest gompa,since it's construction in 1960.many Tibetan people live in Manali,they are worship Buddha in this monastery.it's maintained by donations from the local community.The monastery also runs a painting school and a carpet weaving centre.in the complex there are some shops where you can buy Tibetan handicraft and carpet.Gompa is open to all day.it's very small gompa.if you are...
