An ideal short trek to enjoy the grandeur of Himalayan trekking Experience a placid high-altitude alpine glacial lake. Camp near the base of towering Himalayan peaks masked with snow and ice. The trail head is very accessible and the trail is slightly steep only in few places, thus making it the perfect choice for first time trekkers.

If you are visiting rhotang pass then must visit place. Local people has well maintain this location. You have to reach there by trekking so if you are physically good then only try to visit.

The photo attached to this forced me give it a visit but please note that it is not the real picture of Beas Kund. It is situated on the way to Rohtang Pass and is hosted in a IGLOO shaped small structure built by a local king. Not many people visit the same but worth visiting since it is on... More

"Beas Kund" surprised me. This is my most exciting experience among last 10 years of different trekking experiences. Rather I was shocked with the Moraine patch. No fix path. Slippery narrow Slopes. Heavy boulders to cross on a glacier. Its yes thrilling/awesome/. But Make sure..all this when weather has supported you. If its raining in between... God must Bless. I... More
