The river is very famous. It's good. Rafting can be done. Different vegetation. Flows through mountains and dense alpine forests in little higher altitude which is worth watching. One can spend hours by sitting on the bank of the river.

The roads run parallel to the river and at every corner you can get a good view of the river all the way to Rohtang pass

The Beas at Manali is awesome just like a boisterous and energetic child it flowed down with a force dashing against the rocks and boulders that make its path. One can immerse oneself in the sheer beauty and power of nature.
