Due to climate change, de-forestation, over population and major construction projects have really taken a toll on this once beautiful lake. It it not exactly what it used to be and a very forgettable experience to drive here, to say the least.

We were highly disappointed when we last visited this place. This lake was more of a swamp, with dirty water, muddy shore lines, and very risky looking boats. There were couple of restaurants closely, otherwise there is nothing to see, or have fun with.
Quick getaway from delhi, close to gurugram, its a quite place for the outing. There were outdoor activities available like camel riding, boating etc. There is Haryana Tourism resort with a restaurant, we ordered chinese which tasted alright. Good picnic spot to spend the day.
