It was not any good place. The maintenance was very bad. It can be maintained well. It was given the name of national park but it was not as expected. The outer area was well maintained but when we entered the sanctuary's main area it was not as expected from the outside. The water and road wasn't maintained also the road was uneven and not relevant for the lorry to move. it wasn't any good experience no greenery was there and only keekars were there. There should be taps for drinking water and sheltered place for sitting. No bird was sighted by us because of no greenery.

A good variety of birds to see. Comfortable path going around the lake with viewing platforms and side paths along the way. Can get hot in the summer sun.

A quiet place in the busy Gurgaon city where people are just worried about earning money and enjoying in crowds. This place is one of the reserved areas and worth spending time and affordable tourism restaurant food. More important is the 1.5km walk in the woods and as you sit near the lake and watch birds fly all over the place. A place for great photography so grab your cameras and enjoy the majestive place. Kudos to Haryana tourism who have maintained the land and not make it a commercial place.

Visited Sultanpur National Park on a holday inbetween the Diwali holidays

Expected to see very few birds, and lots of people
Actually there were very few people, and lots of birds

Do carry a binocular, and a camera with a zoom lens
And some water.

Probably another visit in peak winter when the Siberian visitors would have arrived, is needed.

I was a bit late and the onset of Summer meant that all the migratory birds had left but was able to view quite a few of the native bird species

Serenity amidst the chaos of urban jungle. Went there with my family on 2nd Jan 2022 and simply fell in love with this place. Spread in 352 acres only a small portion is available for sightseeing as major portion of the national park is filled with grasslands and no birds are usually visible there. Always try to reach as soon as possible around 8-9 Am and best time is from Dec to March. Just make sure you carry a nice binocular and a good camera. Also don't forget to take a guide for identifying the birds and learning about them. Dont carry any eatables and please maintain the peace and sanctity of the place, A walk of around 3kms will enable you to see majority of the birds and enjoy the place. Spend good 2-3 hours there if you just want to visit and if you have the photography bug then please be prepared to spend as much time you want to.
