I was extremely disappointed..We went there from far place and we were not even allowed to enter. I can understand that the museum is owned by a private house, but even the slightest hospitability was not shown to the visitors.

On Saturday 21st July 2018, I decided to spend the day with myself and returned with this amazing experience full of knowledge as well as creativity from a hidden treasure, known as 'MUSEUM OF FOLK & TRIBAL ART' in one of the most commercialized plus populated cities of India, Gurgaon in Haryana.

This hub of art and artefacts mostly belong to Himachal Pradesh, Bastar, Madhya Pradesh, Parts of South India is a genius attempt and hardwork by late Mr. K.C Aryan who was a painter, sculptor and art historian. The museum is now being maintained by his children B.N Aryan and Subhasini Aryan, who are both great historians & connoisseurs of folk as well as indigenous art forms.

I request Anyone who lives in Delhi NCR or is visiting must see this culturally rich place. It's an irony that something like this exists amidst the crowd of Gurgaon and is almost unknown to it's inhabitants.
