Good well-maintained garden within an amusement park. I think it is not adequately clear that Vrindawan Garden is the same as Ajwa Garden, and it is now contained within Atapi Wonderland Amusement Park. Overall, enjoyable place. It helps that it is possible to buy a ticket only to the garden (which does not include the rides); this option is useful for those who have no time or interest in the rides.

Used to be the prime attraction of the city, but lack of maintenance and novelty has worn off the attraction of this place.

I visited to this location to enjoy evening musical fountain show, but after reaching site, we were told by the staff that garden is demolished and will be open after two years. Staff was just interested to help or guide us further to the garden.

Located beside Ajwa Sarovar, its frequent picnic spot for many school children from Baroda. Also known as "Vrundavan Garden"; its adaptation of famous Vrundavan Garden of Mysore. Garden is nice & at night time fountains with lighting are worth a visit. However, its not well-maintained. Musical fountain show still plays songs from good-old days. Music and fountain movements are not in sync, but that wouldn't matter for kids. Being 15km outside city-limits, its nice little road-trip too :)

Ajwa gardens is surprisingly neglected by the VMC... What once used to be a jewel in the crown of city sightseeing and a popuilar weekend pastttime, is desperately in need of upkeep
1) the garden lawns are dry and dead
2) flower shrubs are absent
3) cildren play area swings and slides are in need of replacement
4) fountains rarely work
5) entire area is filled with lot of bats and can be quite scary if you are walking alone in evenings.
6) Access to see the Sardar sarovar lake should be given
ironically there is a board saying photography is prohibited but in truth there is nothing left to click here.... please wake up and reinstate aJWA's glory

Ajwa - Sayaji Lake - Water supplying lake to Baroda city since pre-independence period, started this project by Kingdom of Gaikwads - royal family of Baroda City.
Big Lake, having Vrundavan, Bangalore type water fountains... Fun and Play facilities.
Good spot for one day picnic.

This garden is 30 kms away from city but still one must travel to this garden to see its beauty. It is similar to vrindavan garden in bangalore. It has musical fountain show. Ajwa lake is also situated near to this garden. Water world comes on the way to ajwa garden from vadodara which is also a good place

One of the best outdoor locations nr Vadaodara, just @ 20 Kms from Baroda. The Garden is located near the Ajwa lake, which provides drinking water to more than 70 % of the Vadodara's population of @11 lacs.
The garden is also called Vrindavan Garden, as its a miniature of the original Vrindavan gardens of Mysore. which lights up on weekend & Monday only. And to end it, its the dancing fountain.
