Having variety plants and flowers, greenery and nature, paintings and view of temple it was a blessed place best suited for family visit. Better check whether it was opened before the visit since it was closed some days. The bank of river Mahisagar was giving the natural feelings fresh with breeze.

Leave aside summers and hot days, this place is most suited for an outing with family, kids, groups or a social gathering. This place has a good combination of enjoyment, education, kids activities, elders resting place and river bed too with a historical background. The administration has set the pace for developing this place and if the interest is continued the place will be soon be a favourite among locals and nearby.

Firstly this place is open only on weekends.ie Saturday and Sunday.
Entry time is 9.00 am to 17.00 pm and no entry after 16.30 hrs.

On entering you have to make a token registration of your name in the register.
You are faced with a lush green garden well maintained in the first five days on which it is closed to the public. Here you can see the varieties of plants and flowers.A brief is given of a few important plants and the walk way is covered by bamboos at many places.

Besides plants there is a play area for kids with swings and all a kids enjoy.

There is Bhammariya Kuvo and the descriptioin is given on its importance.

There are four paintings which summarise the history of this village Vaherakhedi and how the name Mahisagar has been derived.Very nice effort and paintings presentation.

You can do a lot of photography inside and both photography and parking are free as of now.

Having seen this garden and on your exit, also have darshan of Maa Mahisagar temple which is slightly up on the same road.
After darsahn you can either climb down or if have a vehicle return back to the ghat or river bed area to have view of the "chori" and river bath.

Enjoy .
