Loved how the palace was created with Italian marbles brought and saw the heavy throne of the king and even there engineering works we're at different level. Loved every bit of this palace. There was such a clean lawn and it looked more like a golf course.

From anywhere you enter this Banyan city ,the cultural capital of Gujarat.Gaekwads of Baroda State gave it zest & values of Marathi culture over the local Gujarati and Nawabi cultures.Fibevarts ,Oldest music college arts done palace like University buildings with green campus invite you.City centre Public garden was first created around chateaux like Museum worth visiting in Sayaji Kamati Baug.Planetorium and Zoo is within around with elite of city Walk at sunrise and sunset .Garba at navratri time before Dussera is world's largest most exhiliriating experience for you to see so many men women in colurful traditional dress Dance around goddess into late nite.Food is great local thali as well as world cuisine wrapped in local flavour waits for visitors.

Want to get relaxed and take some time out from your busy schedule or spend time with family or friends, Sayaji Baug is availabke through the year. Winter may be better time to explore this place. There is small zoo, toy train, museum and many more to explore. You spend one full day or at least need 4 to 6 hours if you want to check everything here.

Vadodara has changed a lot in last few years. It is much more cleaner city. Lot of unofficial structures/buildings and lariwala/hawkers have been removed so that cars, motor bikes etc can travel faster. There have been addition of several overpasses to speed up the movement of traffic. It also has a ten hole goldf course. It has become a modern city where you can buy most things

This city is very rich in its culture and that's why it is called sanskari nagari. A peaceful city to live in with diversity of people. It's population is also not too much and hence its not that crowded. If one is looking forward to visit this city then do visit it in the month of September during navratri. It's a garba lovers heaven. Also visit the famous kamatibaug, lakshmi vilas palace and there are many near by places for one day picnic. Also try their sev usal which is very mouth watery. In all one should definitely visit this place.

The city is one of the best cities in Gujarat. It's less than 2 hrs from Ahmedabad and offers many activities.

The city roads are clean and traffic isn't that heavy.

One can visit Sayaji Baugh and the Barpda Museum with family/friends.

The city has a food bazar aka Ratri Bajar which is a must if you are a foodie.

One can visit the Lukshmi Vilas palace if interested in history.

Sardar Sarovar Dam and now, Statue of Unity is also nearby from Vadodara.

One may find good stay very easily. Enjoy the trip.
