The Palace, built during the rule of Jam Ranjitsinhji. This palace is a combination of European architecture with Indian carvings. It was built as a mimic of Victoria Memorial Building of Calcutta and 3 domes are made of glass. To visit this palace you have to take prior permission of royal family office situated at darbargh. Nice for outside photography.

Very bad experience. I went to the entrance gate and a not friendly security told me that the palace was closed to visitors, So why don't they write it on google, instead of keeping the fake opening timing and cheat the people ? They seem also to be panicked about photos of the property : are they ashamed about it ?

The building is beautiful on the outside. I took a picture from the gate. I was told that the palace is closed because, "the king is home". What about the tourist's needs? The king ought to work something out. I gave the palace a two because even not being able to get in it is actually better than the Lakhota Museum which I did get into and gave a one.

Never ever plan to visit this place. Not open to public, No one available to guiide visitors. No one to guide if permission can be got - if so where.
Looks a lousy place from outside - cannot comment about inside.
Tripadvisor - please remove this from your Jamnagar list.
I wasted my time and money - travelling to Jamnagar for visiting this place.
