I went there with my family . Its not well maintained museum and very less to see and enjoy there . But you will see some interesting kite design . Can be avoided if one does have much time while in the city .

A very large is kept for International kite fest. Beautiful kites collection. Gujarat darshan is visible here. Very good handicraft collection. International kite players on the open ground.

this is the best museum in Ahmedabad. collection of old heritage utensils, pots, fire engines, artifacts and of course kites. take good time to see each and every part of it. very nice place.
