This mosque is as poorly maintained as beautiful it is. The dargahs are really beautiful and the art gallery has many artefacts. But it is very poorly maintained and smelt overwhelmingly of pigeons' droppings

Sarkhej Roja is quite large area having Mosque, several tombs, kings palace, queens palace, courtyards and a big lake. The place is quite peaceful and neatly maintained. I have clicked many pictures here. Must visit for religious and history loving people.

It's dangerous to visit Sarkhej Roza after sunset. The surrounding localities might tend to attack you unnecessarily. Also if anybody is trying to visit then make sure you are in a group of 7-10 people.

The site is now quiet famous for photoshoots . It has beautiful ancient carvings. Its an old mosque which is not very well preserved by the government here. Good place for the photographers .

This place is riven deep in history and offers great vantage points. It’s such a shame that the Government of India can not find the funds to renovate and upgrade this beautiful place.

Yes, Morning is good due to hot weather. Also, try to avoid Friday afternoon because of prayers. Any morning is good!
