Sabarmati Ashram is one of the most important attractions of Ahmedabad, in fact in Gujarat. This place is quite and serene and takes does justice to imagine the life of Gandhi in his time.

this is the ashram of gandhiji situated on the banks of sabramthi river. many memories gandhiji were restored here. minimum of one hour needed to go through all these. good environment family friendly place

One of the featured place in middle of city. Must visit if you are in Ahmedabad. You can see Gandhiji's every life event. Library is good.. Absolute quite place and you can relax under the tree for hours. Nice cool breeze.

Sabarmati Ashram is otherwise known as the Mahatma Gandhi's Home. It is an Ashram started by Mahatma Gandhi. This is now changed in to a museum. The building was designed by India's best renowned architect Charles Correa. A must visit place in Ahmedabad.

You would require to find nearby hotels. Check on the online portals for rates and closeness to the Ashram.

Most of the places in Ahmedabad & Gandhinagar have no fees.You can visit many temples & places of interest by engaging a Cab for 8-10 hours. It costs around Rs 1800 for 8 Hours & 2200 for 10 hours. Vintage Car museum charges... More
