I guess the best place to visit if ur tired from journey or little disturb after long journey.ashram is quite peaceful and the staff was smiling all the time.

You do get an impression of what it was like at the time Gandhi lived there though obviously things have changed. The museum is good but it is easy to enter it from the wrong side. Not too crowded

When I was travelling from kutch to pune,I had to stay half a day in Ahmedabad during the transit. You can actually visit the place where Gandhi stayed without any restriction. You can visit Gandhi's room, Kastuba's room, their Guest room & a kitchen. You can also see the things used by Gandhi ji. It was an amazing experience to visit this calm well maintained place.
