As others have stated, this place is so worth the visit. You will see wildass, Nilgai, and birds galore. I loved the openness of this place with the beautiful cracked clay earth underfoot and the wide openness of the sky above. Impressive!

For an offbeat experience, you must visit the Little Rann of Kutch 1. Sky filled with a million stars. 2. Catch a glimpse of the shooting star 3. Sun rise & moon rise on a flat cracked land 4. Jeep safari to see animals (WildAss, Nilgai) in the afternoon & Bird Safari in the mornings (Pelican, Flamingo, Kingfisher, Drongo &... More

IT's flat, very flat and the horizon is a the other side of the mirage but it is truly amazing. The flamingos alone are worth the journey especially if you see them as we did in flight. The wild life is just phenomenal, everywhere you look there's something fascinating. The other thing is the people, the strange isolated life of... More

I think almost all of Little Rann of Kutch is also the Indian Wild Aςς Sanctuary. Though this area is not fenced out, it may be both difficult and risky to venture in on your own. Best is to take a jeep safari available with all the places of stay nearby. We had stayed at the Eco Tour Camp and... More

I enjoyed fully the morning safari. Really happy to see so many varieties of water birds, eagles, flamingoes from a very short distance. It's great place for photography. Don't forget to take camera. Enjoy nature in RAAN...!!!

This is a huge are of over 5000 sq kms and primarily known for wildass but we enjoyed sighting large number of Flamingo and many other types of birds, Nilgai, Sambar etc. This place is not very popular among tourists and was not crowded at all and sighting is possible all throughout the day, which is a strong plus. A... More

Little rann of kutch is a cousin of great rann of kutch near Zainabad. The terrain is a bit different from the great rann. You wont see salt pans till horizon rather it is more like a dried up marsh. This is an ideal place to see migratory birds and wild donkeys. A safari here is a very different experience... More

I only wished I had allotted more time at the Little Rann. So huge an area and so much to see and learn. The spectacular sunrises and sunsets, the many varieties of birds especially the Lesser Flamingos, the protected and free animals especially the gentle and shy Indian wild ases, the varied landscape of hard cracked mud, low and sparse...
