Lovely beach. Very clean, with bins for rubbish, which are emptied daily. Only three beach huts near to the Holiday inn and the St Regis. Delightful to swim in, dophins about.
Downside is from November to March large Indian weddings at the two resorts every day which ramp up at 4pm.
They are loud, but we could zone out with the beauty of the beach.

Beach location is unbelievable. If you like a chilled out beach holiday then this place ticks the box. Visited the beach hut called the beach hut, excellent food, service and value for money. The staff just can’t do enough. Highly recommend.

Just what the doctor ordered, a stunning sandy beach for complete relaxation. Beach shacks offer great food at a price that is so cheap

The Mobor Beach has facilities of adventure sports. Sal river is nearby and one can choose it for rafting spot. The beach has three/ four on beach restaurant for having snacks and beer while enjoying the sunset. Life guards are present on the beach.

In the recent times, the beaches in Goa are getting highly crowded and polluted. Beaches like Mobor are sure to make your day if you are looking for something calm. It is one of my favourite beaches in Goa. Although it is so close to Cavelossim, it is a little secluded. It is clean, serene and has a couple of shacks which serve good food too. The view from the shacks is pretty good.

For our recent trip to Goa (read: Honeymoon), we stayed over at the Mayfair Hideaway in Salcette. We could see a small stretch of white sandy beach from our hotel and got really curious to know how to approach the same.
To our realization, Mobor beach, which could be seen from our hotel, would actually require 10km scooter ride, as there was no direct access to the beach from the hotel (Sad :-(). However, the beautiful Mobor beach made up for the 10km turn around. The beach, unlike others, especially the ones in North, was quiet, calm and surprisingly less crowded. One of the best thing that we noticed about the beach was its cleanliness. It took us some time to come to terms with the fact that we were still in India.
The beach is not all that long, but its quite a walk from the entrance near the Leela's to the far end (from where we could see our hotel). The beach is heavily guarded by the life guards, so it is safe to take a dip. The water is a bit shallow on the southern end of the beach, but that's quite deceiving to say the least.
Its location is bit in the interiors of Salcette area, but I guess that's the reason why it is so peaceful down there. There are many eating options right outside the beach, most prominently, Fisherman's Wharf. If in South Goa this is a beach to visit for sure.

Birds, palm trees, fine sand, little people, natural beauty, sounds like paradise but actually it is real. As soon as you get used to the high humidity in the atmosphere, all this wild beauty becomes overwhelming. Take a walk on the sea side to the Sal River, more wild life will appear (like birds and sand crabs).
Although the water is warm, underwater currents or big waves may appear. There are lifeguards in the hotel areas, it's wiser to have a bath where they may see you.

We visited this beach during our stay at the Leela resort. It is directly connected to the resort and the resort has lots of beach beds placed there for their guests. The resort also has a restaurant at the beach front.
The beach itself is very clean and has some water sports like Jet Ski, Banana ride for 4, tube ride for a couple, etc. The waves are nice and you can have a good time in the water.
The sunset looks awesome from the beach, DO NOT MISS IT.
There are other beach shacks also available for food options. Overall a good and clean beach but only worth visiting if you are staying in any of the close-by resorts.

For the majority of UK tourists visiting Goa one of the most important attractions is the beaches and here in South Goa there are vast expanses of golden sand which in my experience have never been overcrowded. When you plan a beach holiday it seems reasonable to expect to find the basic amenities i.e. beach bar for food and drinks, toilet facilities, sunbed, umbrella. If you want that don't come to Goa! For those of you have visited Goa in previous years - yes the shacks are up as are the temporary toilets!! But don't expect a sunbed - the government have imposed a limit 5 beds per shack. Visitors have put the sunbed mattresses on the sand to provide a modicum of comfort but the tourist police have even put a stop to that confiscating the offending mattresses!!! So if you still want to come be prepared to lie on the hot sand!

Mobor beach is a white sand beach located at Cavelossim. It's a safe and amazing place to relax with family especially when your kids want to have some water and sand fun. Watersports are safest as compare to other north goa beaches.
There are only a few shacks, but most of them serve really good food (little expensive but worth it).
Though I had a very bad experience with "Pearl Beach Cafe", but other shacks are way too good.

Is it possible to walk from The Leela to Cavelossim town.
Written 10 August 2019
Yes it’s possible, but better to walk on the beach rather than the road as it’s safer and shorter distance.

Yes there are a number of stores depending upon what you want. On the main road leading to Mobor beach, you will find few next to Robin’s Ark which is a prominent restaurant close by.
