Typical historical place having gate of entry to Goa most attractive thing was ferry ride near the gate where people and vehicles were ferried from one end of river Mandovi to island

There is nothing to see at Viceroy's Arch. More over the road is buzzing with traffic so you cant even spend much time. Even if you dont visit this place you wont be missing anything.

A pretty small arch, no big deal, no major significance either as far as I could find. Driving around the area is nice, with the river on one side.

This arch is situated at walkable distance from Basilica of Bom Jesus, Se Cathedral, Church of St Francis of Assisi and Archeological Museum of Goa. Better visited in the morning or late afternoon to avoid sun during the walk between these places.
