Done this trip several times in the past and its still brilliant. Daughter and boyfriend booked it and they wanted us to come along. To be honest I was not over bothered having done it in the past. Went on the three bedroomed boat must say very roomy. We saw monkeys, Crocodile, Peacock, plenty of Kingfishers kites ect. Food was amazing better than any we had previously although never could complain with what we had previously. Staff were very accommodating. To experience all the sounds, in a peaceful setting this is the best trip to do. It's the best value trip I have done anywhere, You can email and book from the UK 🇬🇧 . HAS TO BE ON THE MUST DO LIST if visiting Goa.

From start to finish this trip was fantastic, the staff on the boat couldn’t do enough for us. Pointing out different birds, crocodiles and monkeys as we went along the river.
The room was clean and comfy with an en-suite,
The food was also lovely from breakfast to dinner.
Drinks were readily available and were limitless
Thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay and would recommend this trip

Just returned from Johns overnight Tranquil’ Rice Barge Cruise which runs from Candolim. It was fab. The trip , staff, food, accommodation were great. I would recommend this trip however if you have mobility issues you need to discuss with the company first. There are several occasions when you have to get on / off the Rice Barge onto a small boat for transportation. Whilst all staff were very attentive and safety conscious it proved tricky for a couple of our party. Just be mindful of this before you book. If you can fill the 3 bedrooms with friends I would day do that or have the boat to yourself at an extra cost. I will go again on my next trip to Goa. 🙏

My partner and I went on the overnight house boat trip (3 room boat) It was the highlight of our holiday. So relaxing and the most wonderful experience. We were so well looked after, getting fed and given drinks constantly. The rooms were very clean and unique. Beautiful views and everything ran on time and smoothly. If you get the chance you should definitely try this one!

What a brilliant way to spend 24hrs!
Picked up from the hotel and taken to the boat in comfort
Didn’t know the other 2 couples with us but before long we were all best of friends
Dave and the crew treated us like royalty and we wanted for nothing
Food was really good considering we were on a boat in the middle of a river and not in a 5* hotel
All in all I would totally recommend it and we will do it again when we go back

My husband and I booked a trip on the 3-bedroom boat and it was one of the best experiences we have had in a long time. The team was headed by Dave, who looked after our every need and we had a great buffet Goan meal in the evening, together with as many soft and alcoholic drinks as we wished. In the morning we had a lovely omelette and fresh bread breakfast and another buffet meal before we disembarked the boat. Our cozy double room had a really comfortable bed plus an en-suite shower room. The river trip was so tranquil and one which will be remembered. We would highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting north Goa.

This was probably one of the best trips we have been on. Picked up at the hotel mid afternoon, driven to boat with other 2 couples. Transferred to rice boat which was amazing. Travelled up river for approx 2 hours, being served as many drinks as you could wish for.. Dinner was served - curry, rice, samosas etc - more than we could eat - and very edible. Sat chatting till 11pm - then to bed. Cabins were really good, 5 foot bed, cupboard and en suite with wet room shower. More than adequate for 1 night. In the morning, watched sunrise, walk through local village on the island, then back for breakfast - any ommlette you liked, plus toast, and other bits and pieces. Another cruise down river for another 2 hours, then lunch - now we are getting stuffed - in a good way. Mid afternoon we must say goodbye to Dave and the crew and return back to hotel. Food and drink were in abunbance and all the crew friendly and helpful. A great trip

Love the look of the dolphin trip but how rough is the sea and do you swim or wade to shore please?
Chris P
Maldon, UK28 contributions
You only swim in the area near the boat and the crew are there to keep an eye on you and they wouldn't allow you in the water if it was too rough. The sea always looks worse on the shore as those breakers can be very dangerous and drag you out to sea.

Has anyone done the overnight jungle book tour how much per adult and child and is it better to book online before we go ? TIA

Yes we did it. Can’t quite remember the price(sorry).I seem to think it was a little pricey but worth it. Take a jumper for on the night as it got a little chilly. After the elephant wash we hardly had chance to get dried before onto the next item in the agenda. (They do come around with hot water for you to shower with) When eating our evening meal it was rather nippy under the fans. The beds were so comfy for me - I’d not slept in 3 nights and it was the best nights sleep i’d had, the rooms are basic but you’re in the jungle!.No shampoos and soaps or towels-so don’t forget those. You can buy toiletries from a stall near the bar area. And take a change of clothes ‘cos if you wanna wash the elephants you’ll get squirted👍🏼.Sorry to say this and I’m not being nasty- all the people we were with felt the same about this- the Russians were treated so differently to the rest. The staff were lovely with us-but just felt that they were going the extra mile for the Russians! You’ll enjoy it though 😊.Are you doing the Waterfalls too? If so go in trainers or take some to change into. It’s rather a rocky route. Saw a lady slip as she was wearing flip flops. It’s very busy at the Waterfalls but stunning. If you’re lucky you might get to see a train go over the Waterfalls. You’ll enjoy it whatever you decide to do-we did.

Hi we have been offered the 3 bed boat for 8 of us, would you say the boat is big enough for us all (2 of us are on the larger size) or would it be a bit cramped.
