Learn how Chandigarh became what it is and who made it happen. You can also see local art being made and buy a little souvenir at the museum shop.

Amazing to see how the city was created by someone who had many special buildings and design ideas. Feels like you can smell the same air like what Le Corbusier took decades ago.

This is a museum which is built on the old house of Le Corbusier. The museum houses old photographs of Le Corbusier, old documents, his paintings and sketches. It is a beautiful small museum and should be visited if you are curious to know about the years of Le Corbusier in Chandigarh.

This is a small museum but oh the stories it holds! Le Corbusier and his architect on site Pierre Jennereau are well depicted in photos and text on their journey to design, build and deliver their plans for Chandigarh. A rare occurrence of an Indian city built entirely to plan in a grid-like fashion. Le Corbusier’s painting and sculpture are also well captured across the exhibition. It felt a little unkempt though - the letters and telegrams room had no light and it was hard to read anything. Perhaps worth charging 50INR and giving it some refreshing?
