According to our tourist guide Visakhapatnam Port is one of the leading ports of our country. It is divided into three Harbours, viz., Outer Harbour, Inner Harbour and Fishing Harbour with their respective capacities of vessel accommodation. I have visited this place with my family on our Vizag tour.

Vizag Fishing Harbour is a nice scenic place. This is one of the largest fishing harbours in India. The distinct smell of sea fish is strongly feel in this place. Fishing boats and huge ships are visible here. This place is fully active with fishermen coming back in boats after finishing their fishing.

i quiet liked the place, boats in making, people hustling around, loading and unloading, preparation for going out for fishing, boating facility available with tickets, fish galore, mostly dry ones, loads of varieties, no one was seen sitting idle in the area, but it has a foul smell... all around, absolute no for people who cannot stand such bad odors... The driver said he will drive us through the fishing harbour of Vizag for a different experience. He said that this is one of the largest fishing harbours in India and yes, it was. He also took us on a detour through HPCL, Government container service, port and many more.
