Went with Family, it is nicely maintained. There is an entry fee but that's worth. One can get good idea about Submarine and it's working criteria. We will know how our Navy is committed to work for it's country, one must be proud about it after visiting this. Instructors who were explaining every piece of it was really very helpful.... More

From the outside it is a reasonably imposing piece of machinery - albeit becoming more dilapidated day by day - going inside gives you a better idea of life in a submarine. But oh dear, the ever present camera fees are a put off - INR 50 for a camera, INR 200 for a camcorder/video - and take the gloss... More

this submarine is real.took part in 1971 war.we can get a guided tour by submariners who worked in it.must visit.

I visited the submarine museum after watching the movie GHAZI and its exactly the same as shown in the movie the guides were ex navy service men and they explained in detail about the capabilities of the machine overall a very good learning experience.

While my last visit to Visakhapatnam I have visited "INS Kurusura Submarine Museum" just very near to sea coast. It's a huge Submarine. It's our nation pride Though ticket is levied over the visitors but no proper guides are available to explain the functioning and specially the GLORY of the Submarine Outside park is also nicely maintained. The Submarine is icon of Visakhapatnam. It is war ship. It's nothing to do entertainment but there some learning things.must see.
