Did not go inside - hugh queue - but the area around worth exploring and you can get to see the monument from a distance

The Charminar needs no introduction. Loved the crowd, the jewellery shops, specially bangles and the various foods, street shops... a happenning environment and the traffic snarls. Bargain a lot in the streets... a paradise fro street shop hoppers with good bargaining skills. Beware of duplicates...

The hyderabad is famous for charminar , it is near to the jama masjid and the place is also nice and there is a huge market near charminar and people get things at minimum rates, so have a visit

The place is famous in Hyderabad. I think it is mainly due to the shopping opportunities around the place. The place is well crowded in the evenings. One can shop for various price range here. Be prepared to bargain.

Yes - Mobile, wallet and water bottle are allowed inside charminar. However they done allow bulky purse or carry bag or back pack etc.
